Title Parking Enforcement Officer Department UPARK Reports To Operations Manager General Description The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for monitoring assigned parking facilities to ensure compliance with parking regulations issuing parking violation notices and maintaining a visible presence that promotes protected and orderly parking operations The role also serves as the Companys eyes and ears in the field by reporting any operational safety or maintenance concerns observed during patrols Primary Responsibilities Patrol assigned parking facilities on foot or by vehicleEnforce parking rules regulations and company policiesIssue parking violation notices accurately consistently and professionallyDocument violations with photographs and detailed notes when requiredMonitor parking lots for unauthorized parking misuse or safety concernsObserve and report unusual activity incidents or customer concernsReport damaged signage lighting gates payment equipment or other property requiring attentionProvide timely updates to management regarding conditions at assigned locationsMaintain accurate records of patrols tickets issued incidents and observationsRespond courteously and professionally to customer inquiriesFollow company policies and applicable municipal bylawsEquipment ReportingThe Parking Enforcement Officer is expected to inspect parking facilities during regular patrols and promptly report equipment malfunctions damaged gates or barriers pay station issues signage problems lighting outages vandalism cleanliness or safety concerns and any other conditions affecting operations The Parking Enforcement Officer is not responsible for repairing troubleshooting altering or maintaining any parking equipment or facilities Their responsibility is limited to identifying issues and reporting them through established procedures Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentValid drivers license with a clean driving recordStrong observation and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlyComfortable using a smartphone or tablet for reporting and ticket issuanceAbility to walk and stand or extended periodsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to climb stairs and patrol large parking facilitiesAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 poundsWork Schedule40 hours per weekFlexible schedule based on operational requirementsShifts may include mornings afternoons evenings weekends and holidays as neededMadison Group celebrates diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applications and make all employment related decisions without regard to race colour religion sex national origin sexual orientation gender age or disability We thank all applicants for their interest; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted AI will not be used during the recruitment or interview process Compensation 60000
