Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Kinesiologist/ Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed Chiropractor and Physiotherapist to provide high-quality patient care in a private clinic setting. Your primary focus will be to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain mobility , strength and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clinicians in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries or surgeries.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the supervising clinicians
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and home care strategies to support recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.




- Ensure a protected and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Skills

- Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare team members and understand treatment protocols.
- Experience or knowledge in acute care settings, providing immediate support for patients with serious conditions or injuries.
- Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and effective communication when interacting with patients.
- Familiarity/experience in fitness and exercise
