From concept through execution and closeout, we bring projects to life with deep technical expertise, self‑perform capabilities, and a True Blue commitment to doing things right.Role OverviewAs a Project Controls Coordinator, you will play a critical leadership role on major industrial projects ranging from $50 M to $1 B+, providing strategic direction and hands‑on oversight of cost, schedule, progress, and performance. You will influence outcomes across the full project lifecycle while mentoring and supporting project controls team members in the field.Essential ResponsibilitiesPrepare complex reports in Excel for internal and external distributionCompile, review, analyze, and present large quantities of data via the progress monitoring toolFacilitate tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines; assist with creation ofthe project schedule and update it throughout the projectAdminister and provide technical support for various in‑house database applicationsSupport the subcontract management process by reviewing and processing invoices and progress claims, and reviewing related documents and inquiriesInfluence the format and method of tables, charts, and reportsContinuously improve project administrative processes and procedures to enhance efficienciesSet up the project control budget and monitor and report on progress of schedule and productivity vs.
budget; perform budget updates as requiredImplement Ledcor systems and procedures including progress draws for project billings and the cost accounting system at project start‑up and maintain throughout the projectQualificationsPost‑secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline7+ years of progressive experience in project controls within industrial or large‑scale construction environmentsProven experience leading cost and schedule controls on engineering and construction projectsAdvanced knowledge of project cost systems, productivity tracking, earned value, and performance measurementStrong scheduling experience with Primavera P6 (TILOS experience considered an asset)Experience with InEight – InEight Control, InEight Plan, InEight ChangeStrong understanding of project controls terminology, workflows, and interfaces with construction and engineering teamsExperience in contract managementExcellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to technical and non‑technical stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a site‑based environmentWork ConditionsThis is a site‑based position located in Merritt, BC.Compensation$60,400.00 – $83,050.00This is the expected base pay range for this role.
