Day‑to‑day tasks include preparing job sites, measuring and cutting materials, installing various types of flooring (such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or tile), and ensuring surfaces are properly finished and aligned. The Installer will follow project plans and specifications, use hand and power tools safely, and maintain a clean, organized work area.



This role also involves communicating with clients and team members, reporting progress or issues, and adhering to company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.QualificationsExperience with flooring installation, including measuring, cutting, and fitting various flooring materials.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, and ability to follow construction plans or layout instructions.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to deliver precise, high‑quality finishes and meet project timelines.Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work on knees or in confined spaces.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a customer‑focused approach and professional conduct on‑site.Basic knowledge of safety practices and willingness to follow company safety policies and local regulations.Previous experience in flooring, carpentry, or residential renovation is an asset.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Ottawa area are preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
