As a Business Partner, you define your role as a strategic partner for the business. You partner with people leaders and team members to accomplish business objectives through thoughtful, intentional, and innovative people practices.

This role is primarily based in our North Vancouver office but is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The People & Culture Business Partner team operates in strategic partnership with the business to drive the continuous evolution of people practices and foster a culture of belonging that generates high-performance, strength‑based teams, and values-based leadership. You will partner with Finance leaders in the application of thoughtful, intentional, and innovative people practices.

Core Activities

- Serve as the main P&C; point of contact for our Finance function
- Partner with and support the Finance function to create a listening and execution strategy that builds amazing teams who exceed business objectives
- Foster, nurture and evolve relationships that enable rapport, trust and influence throughout the company
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
- Facilitate conflict resolution and lead investigations and report writing
- Coach leaders in employee relations, including career development, performance management, progressive discipline, and termination procedures when appropriate
- Provide advice and coaching to People Leaders and employees on relevant business and people priorities, such as: identifying key talent, succession planning, supporting recognition and rewards, developing objectives, performance management, organization design, workforce planning, learning & development and terminations
- Identify business and resource gaps and partner with People Leaders on solutions
- Gather and analyze relevant people and business information to identify trends and communicate recommendations to align on priorities and implement improvements
- Ensure relevant personal‑development tools and information for teams and employees are readily available, communicated, and understood – you champion personal development
- Lead and champion company‑wide P&C; programs, such as the Performance Review Process,



Employee Engagement Surveys, and Talent Review for GS and other functions
- Develop cross‑functional projects from scratch and participate in business‑wide projects aiming to solve organizational pain points
- Support across functions and enterprise‑wide for Business Partner related initiatives

Future Projects

- Lead organizational design in partnership with People Leaders within Finance
- Provide compensation recommendations and review internal equity
- Coach leaders through our People Listening Strategy and build action plans
- Build annual workforce plans for future growth

Qualifications

- 4+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience
- Comfortable navigating relationships, with expertise in leveraging data to manage a complex group of stakeholders
- Highly collaborative style and willingness and demonstrated ability to work in teams as both a leader and supporting team member
- Ability to coach, mentor, and advise team members toward growth and development paths in alignment with business and personal objectives
- Strong project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to analyze data, assess people, understand trends, and develop prioritized recommendations
- Excellent listening and communication skills, comfortable communicating large complex changes
- Comfortable operating in a highly complex business discussion while also enjoying teamwork
- Ability to quickly build an in‑depth understanding of the business, key processes, priorities and plans
- Highly adaptable and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Balance autonomy and collaboration

Compensation

The salary range for this role is CAD$94,000 – $118,000.

Total Rewards

Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where they can contribute right away while continuing to grow their craft, collaborations, and impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
