Key Responsibilities

Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.

Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Medication Safety: Monitor medication management processes, implement quality assurance initiatives,



and help reduce medication-related risks.

Clinical Collaboration: Partner with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy and improve patient care.

Inventory and Budget Management: Manage pharmaceutical inventory, supplier relationships, purchasing activities, and departmental resources to maintain cost-effective operations.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: 4 to 6 years of hospital or clinical pharmacy experience, including 1 to 2 years of supervisory, team lead, or management experience in a pharmacy setting.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy. Current eligibility for pharmacist licensure in the applicable Canadian province is required.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage daily operations, and support staff development in a healthcare environment.

Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Technical Knowledge: Experience using hospital pharmacy information systems, electronic medical records, and medication management technologies is considered an asset.

Mindset: A patient-focused professional who demonstrates sound clinical judgment, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality healthcare delivery.

Pay: $9,669.00-$11,000.00 per month
