Responsibilities

- Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including medical history and functional assessments
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring movement, alleviating pain, and enhancing strength and flexibility
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans




- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations

Skills

- Proven experience working in hospital environments with exposure to acute care settings
- Strong background in pediatric physiotherapy with the ability to adapt treatments for children of various ages
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal, neurological, and pediatric conditions
- Ability to work efficiently within multidisciplinary teams under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of current physiotherapy techniques and evidence-based practices for optimal recovery outcomes
