Responsibilities The Physiotherapist is responsible for the provision of direct client services including consultation, assessment and treatment. They participate in departmental, program and corporate professional activities and support direct services and corporate objectives. The incumbent delivers care consistent with the vision and values of the hospital and the standards of relevant professional organizations.

The Physiotherapist complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the hospital and proactively promotes a protected work environment.

Qualifications - Knowledge of FIM, Berg Balance scale, Chedoke McMaster Stroke Inventory,



TUG - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team - Commitment to standards of excellence and the concept of accountability - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - French language proficiency considered an asset - Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a car and insurance Education and Certification - License to practice Physical Therapy in Ontario – Required - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy – Required - Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association – Required - Experience with Neurology, Amputees and Geriatrics – Preferred Our hiring decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and hospital needs.
