Ottawa Venues Group is hiring a Pizza & Pasta Specialist to own the pizza and pasta program at Tucker's Marketplace, one of Ottawa's busiest marketplace kitchens.

This is a builder's role, not a line-cook seat. You'll run daily production and take direct ownership of two things: elevating our in-house pizza and pasta station, and executing the pizza that supplies our brand-new concession program at HISTORY Ottawa, the Live Nation concert venue. The recipes and systems are in place to start, and your job is to grow this into a high-end pizza program from the ground up, including a real say in the equipment and upgrades as we scale.

What you'll do

- Own the pizza and pasta station at Tucker's, from daily production to menu development, quality, and consistency
- Elevate our pizza program into a high-end offering through recipe development, technique, and presentation
- Produce the pizza that feeds the HISTORY Ottawa concession program to spec, on schedule, and at volume
- Improve our high-volume pizza and pasta buffet station in throughput and quality
- Follow and refine production SOPs, and hold food cost, portion, and quality standards




- Assess our current equipment and provide clear recommendations for the upgrades needed to support a higher-volume program
- Work closely with our Head Chef and Head Office to make the program a success

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in high-volume pizza production, ideally with pasta as well
- Genuine craft knowledge of dough and technique, with the ability to build a premium product
- An ownership mindset: reliable on daily production and proactive about improving systems, menu, and equipment
- Comfortable documenting and following SOPs and holding cost and quality standards
- Collaborative and communicative across kitchen, head office, and an external venue partner
- Able to deliver quality with current equipment while helping shape what comes next
