We’re looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our growing team.

Draft opinions, pleadings, affidavits and other legal documents to support applications, mediation briefs and pre-trial memorandanda.

Prepare and present legal educational seminars to the claims department.

Maintain productive and effective communications with the claims department and adjusters.

as well as hearings before administrative tribunals.

A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.

Current member of Alberta Law Society.

Candidates with ten or more years of insurance litigation experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience in the following practice areas would be considered an asset: construction, commercial general liability, specialty lines, auto/transportation, long haul trucking, E&O;, D&O;, employment, subrogation.

Expertise in drafting pleadings, reviewing and assessing voluminous production,



conducting discoveries, and trials/arbitration.

Proficiency in technologies, tools, and software programs to optimize operational efficiency and decision making, including iManage, Citrix, ACL, Nuance, Generative AI and the Microsoft Office package.
