- Well‑established, family‑owned Metro Vancouver general contractor with a strong reputation across residential, commercial, and institutional work.
- Known for proactive, front‑end planning mindset, a safety‑first culture, and a collaborative team environment.
About the Opportunity
- Senior PM opportunity to take the reins on a new wood‑frame multi‑family rental build (approx. 50‑unit scale) starting October 2026.
- Key need: bring in a proven wood‑frame PM who can run multiple projects, stabilize delivery, and raise execution consistency across the team.
- Best suited for someone coming from a high‑volume, reputable wood‑frame builder environment.
About the Position
- Lead full project lifecycle: pre‑construction handoff, budget/schedule control, procurement, subcontractor strategy, risk management, and client/consultant coordination.
- Drive site‑team alignment and ensure robust documentation,
change control, and forecasting discipline.
- Support or influence other PMs as needed—this role has real internal impact, not just single‑project delivery.
Requirements
- 7+ years in the BC residential / wood‑frame multi‑family market (not a transition candidate from unrelated sectors).
- Track record running multiple comparable builds (ideally 3–4+ projects over your career at similar scale/complexity).
- Strong cost/schedule ownership, subcontractor management, and stakeholder communication.
- Software: Procore, Sage, MS Project.
Compensation
- $130,000 – $160,000 depending on experience.
- Health and dental benefits.
- 3–4 weeks vacation.
- Discretionary annual bonuses.
