About The OpportunityOur client, a well-established Canadian precision manufacturing organization, is seeking aJunior Quality Analystto join its Quality team. The position is onsite and offers opportunities for growth within the organization.Duties include but are not limited to:Perform inspections of manufactured parts and materials to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standardsMonitor production processes and identify quality concernsCollect, record, and analyze quality dataAssist with statistical process control activitiesPrepare non conformance reports and maintain quality documentationOperate electronic inspection equipment and measuring devicesInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints,
and cosmetic standardsParticipate in root cause investigations and corrective actionsSupport ISO quality management processes and auditsWork collaboratively with production staff to resolve quality issuesAssist Quality Inspectors on the production floor when requiredAbout YouHigh school diploma or equivalent. Post secondary education in manufacturing, engineering technology, quality assurance, or a related discipline is considered an assetApproximately one year of experience performing quality inspections or quality assurance activitiesExperience working in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsBasic understanding of GD&T and statistical process control is considered an assetIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem solving abilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skills in EnglishComfortable working both in an office environment and on the production floorAutomotive or aerospace manufacturing experience is considered an assetAbout the JobPosition: Permanent, Full TimeSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.M. to 3:30 p.M.Salary: $49,920.00 to $52,000.00Benefits: Comprehensive health and dental benefits, paid vacation, paid sick days, vision care, casual dress, and on site parkingLocation: Ottawa, OntarioWork Environment: Fully onsitePlease note that all candidates must be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
