Climate Control Canada is seeking a motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Pre-Construction and Office-Level Sales Representative to support business-to-business sales, marketing, and coordination with developers, builders, contractors, and pre-construction teams. This role is focused on building relationships at the office and pre-construction level, identifying upcoming project opportunities, and helping position Climate Control Canada early in the construction planning process.

Job Details

Position: Pre-Construction and Office-Level Sales Representative

- Compensation: $50,000–$62,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus 2% commission starting after the probationary period
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Sales Type: Business-to-business sales and account development
- Travel: Some overnight travel may be required

About the Role

This is an outside-facing sales and coordination position that requires confidence, professionalism, and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will work directly with customers, construction partners, and pre-construction teams to market Climate Control Canada’s services, track upcoming opportunities, and support the handoff of project information internally.

This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable speaking with new contacts, following up with customers, and representing the company in a professional business-to-business environment. If you are uncomfortable speaking with customers, making introductions, or engaging with the public, this may not be the right position for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain business relationships with builders, developers, contractors, and pre-construction teams.
- Identify upcoming construction projects and early-stage sales opportunities.
- Promote Climate Control Canada’s services to prospective commercial and construction clients.
- Coordinate project information between customers, internal teams, and outside partners.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects, key accounts, and project contacts.




- Represent the company professionally in meetings, calls, emails, and site-related discussions.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Ideally 2 or more years of business-to-business sales experience.
- Construction experience or a strong understanding of the construction process is preferred.
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Clear, professional English communication is required.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid Canadian driver’s licence.
- Must be confident speaking with customers, decision-makers, and new business contacts.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a sales plan for your territory to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Prospect for new business through cold calls, site visits, networking, and industry events
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients by providing excellent service and timely follow-ups
- Conduct on-site consultations to understand customer needs and recommend tailored climate control solutions
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and profitability
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless equipment delivery, setup, and servicing
- Monitor project progress and proactively address customer concerns
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, seasonal demand shifts, and competitor offerings
- Represent Climate Control Canada at trade shows, conferences, and community events

Qualifications:
- Experience in sales is desired
- This is open to entry-level sales associates, but it requires long hours of availability and a willingness to learn.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel across BC, flexible hours
- Comfort with basic computer tools (CRM systems, email, spreadsheets)
- A results-driven mentality and the ability to improve over time, coachability
- Strong motivation to grow within the company, with opportunities for advancement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively
- Knowledge of construction site operations or HVAC equipment is an asset but not required. More key is the ability to learn and adapt on your feet.
