In this position, you will report to the Manager of Occupational Health & Safety and be essential in maintaining Magellan’s safety management systems. You will collaborate closely with supervisors and union representatives, conducting audits and implementing safety initiatives. Your involvement will ensure our commitment to a secure aerospace workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety orientation sessions for staff and visitors
• Assist with safety audits and compliance checks
• Maintain injury statistics and follow up on incidents
• Develop on-site safety training programs
• Collaborate with teams to address safety concerns
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Safety & Health
• At least two years of safety experience
• Standard First Aid & CPR certification
• Familiarity with WHMIS and safe work practices
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
