As a Technician I – Audio Visual with Bosch Building Technologies, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze (for correctness), and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.This role requires the ability and know-how to properly complete the installation, understand and follow the bills of material (BOM), and be capable of adjusting or finding alternative solutions as needed to complete installations to client satisfaction.We expect all employees to represent Bosch Building Technologies in a professional manner, in line with our values of a leadership mindset, people development, teamwork, and client focus. Though based in Vancouver, you may be required to travel to job sites throughout the region.ResponsibilitiesBuild technical skills by shadowing experienced technicians, participating in training sessions, and learning manufacturer standards and best practicesAssist with the installation and servicing of cabling infrastructure and audiovisual devices, including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, labelling, and reporting in accordance with specifications and drawingsSupport the installation of audiovisual systems, including video conferencing, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, public address/announcement systems, and other presentation technologiesAccurately complete required documentation, including service reports, test results, and equipment recordsInteract with customers and team members in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring inquiries are addressed appropriatelyFollow all company and site‑specific safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and timely incident reporting, while consistently maintaining safe work practices and professionalism in all job‑related activitiesWork at required heights using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other equipmentPerform tasks in confined spaces when necessaryBe available to work evening or night shifts when required, based on project or service needsOther duties as requiredRequired QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracyFlexibility to work in diverse environments,
