Principal – Actuarial Consulting, TELUS Health As a Principal within the Actuarial Consulting practice, you will leverage your broad business and financial acumen, along with your deep understanding of the pension landscape, to develop strategic long‑term plans for our clients’ defined benefits pension schemes. You will be a trusted advisor, leading and influencing internal and external stakeholders, providing higher‑level actuarial consulting to address complex business challenges while growing the practice within your region.

Responsibilities - Provide proactive and thoughtful pension plan advisory, delivering integrative solutions and overseeing all aspects of client service, including quality across all lines of business.

- Effectively communicate intricate actuarial concepts to clients and stakeholders in a concise, comprehensible manner, and stay informed on industry developments and emerging trends.
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities with existing and new clients, positioning TELUS Health as a market leader.
- Co‑create an effective, collaborative team environment through coaching, mentoring, and continuous feedback, enhancing team engagement.





Key Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in pension plan consulting.

- Professional actuarial designation, such as FCIA or FSA.
- Solid knowledge of pension schemes and actuarial standards of practice across public and private sectors, including risk assessment, financial projections and plan evaluation.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, financial markets and prevailing industry developments.
- Strong client‑relationship management skills, up to C‑suite, based on a trusted‑advisor model.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities, drive revenue growth and meet budget and profitability targets.
- Proven leadership and mentorship that ensure high‑quality deliverables and a supportive work setting.

Preferred Qualifications - Bilingual (English and French).
