Americas is currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Mechanical) to join our growing Engineering group in Mississauga, Ontario. Reporting to the Manager of Engineering - Americas the Engineering Manager is accountable to manage and direct the multi-discipline engineering / drafting teams to produce outputs that are fit for purpose, in alignment with project requirements and produced in a timely and cost effective manner. Provide creative, forward‑thinking solutions to complex design challenges.

Lead and monitor design team performance, offering feedback, guidance, and support. Prepare man‑hour budgets and design schedules for Study and EPCM estimates. Oversee design reviews throughout all project development stages.

Support pre‑commissioning activities and manage field engineering requirements. Manage vendor documentation reviews and ensure accurate dissemination to engineering and drafting teams. Coordinate multi‑discipline design and drafting resources to meet deliverable dates and budget targets.

Ensure all design work complies with company procedures and relevant Australian/International Standards. Provide technical input for proposals and business development efforts while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and team development. Minimum 15+ years of post-graduate experience in mineral processing or metallurgical plant, with a focus on mechanical equipment engineering within the mining discipline.

Engineering qualification (or equivalent) with P.Provides global project leadership across mining operations,



with a strong focus on mechanical systems and equipment. Intuitive leader capable of initiating, leading, and managing change in complex environments. Proven ability to mentor teams, support professional development, and drive succession planning.

Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision while meeting budget and schedule constraints. High attention to detail with exceptional expertise in engineering drawings, supported by strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
