Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will oversee avalanche safety initiatives and aviation operations for the Eskay Creek project. Your responsibilities will include leading risk assessments and operations coordination, as well as ensuring that best practices in safety and emergency response are followed. Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the Avalanche Safety Program's operations
• Lead daily avalanche control and forecasting




• Supervise and guide Avalanche Technicians
• Implement site-wide emergency response plans
• Collaborate on aviation-related safety protocols
Requirements:
• CAA Avalanche professional with Level 2 certification
• Relevant blasting certification for aviation tasks
• OFA Level 3 or advanced first aid certification
• Solid physical fitness and mountain travel experience
• 8 years of experience in avalanche technician roles
