Job Summary : Private Investigator – Ontario

Pay and Benefits

- $20.00–$25.00 per hour before overtime
- Hotel accommodations provided when required
- $30 daily per diem when overnight lodging is required
- Mileage reimbursement where applicable
- Flexible full-time, part-time, and contract opportunities
- Assignments ranging from 1 to 120 days

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct corporate, covert, and undercover surveillance.
- Investigate workplace incidents, misconduct, fraud, theft, and disability claims.
- Collect and document evidence accurately.
- Conduct interviews,



background research, and social media investigations.
- Prepare clear and detailed investigation reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all legal and ethical requirements.

Requirements
- Valid Ontario Private Investigator licence
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Willing to travel across Ontario on short notice
- Available for 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Able to sit, stand, walk, or drive for extended periods
- Strong English communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to handle confrontational situations professionally
- Reliable, discreet, observant, and able to work independently

Experience in private investigations, security, policing, military service, surveillance, or corporate investigations is considered an asset. Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Contract

Work Location: On-site, with travel throughout Ontario as required
