Job Summary and Requirements

This opportunity is to fill a 1-year full-time term, anticipatory permanent position working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The opportunity…

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for forecasting and purchasing the corporation's liquor and cannabis products, sourcing current and new products for the best value, coordinating special orders for internal and external clients and customers, maintaining inventory, and pricing systems, and coordinating with freight companies for transportation of liquor and cannabis products into the territory.

Essential Qualifications

- Recent and extensive experience analyzing sales, inventory, and forecasting data to support product purchasing decisions, manage inventory, and anticipate supply chain challenges or opportunities.
- Experience negotiating pricing, purchase agreement terms, and product availability with licenced producers, suppliers, agents, and vendors.
- Experience purchasing products and administering purchase orders in a distribution setting.
- Experience and knowledge of procurement, supply chain, transportation logistics, Microsoft suite, and warehouse/inventory management systems.
