About The OpportunityOur public sector client is seeking a Senior Advisor to provide strategic guidance and executive-level project management expertise in support of a large-scale enterprise wireless modernization initiative. This position will support senior leadership by providing advice, governance, stakeholder engagement, and project oversight throughout the planning and implementation of a complex enterprise technology program. The successful consultant will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior executives to ensure project objectives are achieved while supporting organizational priorities.DutiesProvide strategic advice and recommendations to senior leadership on enterprise technology initiativesLead and coordinate project planning activities for complex Government of Canada IT projectsDevelop executive briefings, presentations, reports, and status updatesCoordinate activities with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external partnersIdentify, monitor, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependenciesSupport project governance, decision making, and executive committeesFacilitate meetings, workshops,
and stakeholder consultationsMonitor project progress and recommend corrective actions where necessaryEnsure project activities align with departmental priorities and Government of Canada policies and processesPerform additional advisory and project management duties as requiredAbout YouA university degree or combination of education, training, and relevant experienceA minimum of 10 years of experience supporting large-scale Government of Canada projects valued at over $20 millionA minimum of 10 years of experience working within Government of Canada culture and processesExtensive experience providing strategic advice to senior executivesDemonstrated experience managing or advising enterprise technology initiatives within the federal governmentStrong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skillsExperience preparing executive briefings, reports, and presentationsKnowledge of Government of Canada governance and project management practicesProfessional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Agile, or equivalent are considered assetsEnglish Essential with advanced oral, reading, and writing proficiencyHave a valid Reliability Level security clearanceAbout the JobDuration: Approximately 48 weeks (August 10, 2026 to July 9, 2027)Location: Westend Ottawa OntarioWork Workplace: OnsiteLROGOVSenior Advisor - Contract - 19280#J-18808-Ljbffr
