The Centre for Trades (CTRA) delivers a range of certificate and apprenticeship programs. The Centre defines itself through excellence in teaching and learning, fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in all activities: development and renewal of courses and programs, approaches to teaching and learning, and scholarly activity and community engagement by faculty, staff, and students.ResponsibilitiesInstruct various essential portions of the programContent development and ongoing updates and maintenanceTrack student progress and implement interventions as neededAnswer and respond to in-person, telephone, and email inquiriesPromote the program and facilitate recruitment of studentsPurchase of materials and equipmentProvide reports and updates to the Associate Dean as neededEstablish and maintain critical relationships with key partners and stakeholdersAdministrative tasks as neededRequired QualificationsJourneyman Red Seal Powerline Technician with a minimum of 5 years experienceStrong computer skills and experience with Microsoft OfficeExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and foster relationshipsStrong organizational skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environment, as well as independentlyPreferred QualificationsInstructional or training experienceSalaryCommensurate with education and experience according to the Faculty Collective Agreement.Working HereLethbridge AdvantagesLethbridge offers a relatively low cost of living, with mild winters and sun-filled summers.
