JK Bakery Cafe is a specialty bakery operating in beautiful Canmore, Alberta in the Canadian Rockies. We operate two retail cafes and a wholesale department supplying baked goods and lunches to local hotels and restaurants. We are presently looking for applicants to fill the following position:

Production Cook/Soup Cook

This job entails assisting with the prep of daily soup and lunch production supplying our 2 cafes'.

- preparation and cooking of daily soups
- assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, salads, savouries and sandwiches
- packing food containers for sale in our grab and go fridges
- cooking and heating simple food items
- putting away food orders
- cleaning kitchen and food preparation areas
- cleaning cooking and general utensils used in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Must have knife skills
- Be able to read and follow recipes
- Team player with positive attitude
- Commercial kitchen experience is an asset
- We do not have an LMIA for this position

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
