Our mission is to make every league night the best night of the week for our athletes.Role OverviewThe District Manager owns the operational performance, consistency, and health of a defined group of Brodie League locations. This is a field leadership role focused on execution, coaching, and reliability. You are accountable for ensuring game days run to standard, location leaders are supported and developed, and operational issues are resolved quickly and professionally across the district without constant central intervention. This role is responsible for driving performance across New York, Boston, Chicago, and Dallas. Your mission: ensure every league night across the district meets the Brodie Standard.Core ResponsibilitiesDistrict Execution & League HealthEnsure every location in the district consistently meets the Brodie StandardMonitor weekly execution including game flow, staffing readiness, stats accuracy, content delivery, and player experienceIdentify execution gaps early and intervene before issues escalatedEnsure league nights feel professional, predictable, and well‑run across all locationsGeneral Manager & League Manager CoachingDevelop robust,
confident location leaders who can operate independentlyAct as the first point of support for General Managers and League ManagersCoach leaders through challenges rather than solving everything for themReinforce expectations, standards, and sound decision‑makingStandards Compliance & System AdoptionEnsure Brodie systems, playbooks, and workflows are followed in the fieldHold location leaders accountable to SOPs, checklists, and operating systemsIdentify where systems are breaking down or being bypassedEscalate systemic issues and provide field feedback to improve processesNew Market Expansion Planning & LaunchOwn district‑level support for launching new markets from planning through executionLead market research, including facility sourcing and viability, target demographics, and competitor league analysisHire, onboard, and train initial on‑site leadership and core game‑day staff to the Brodie StandardPartner cross‑functionally with Brand, Finance, and Growth to ensure new markets are launch‑readyOperations Efficiency & AutomationIdentify high‑friction, manual workflows across district operationsPartner with League Managers and on‑site teams to improve efficiencyPartner with Tech to implement automations that reduce errors and admin workEnsure new tools and systems are adopted and actively usedFree League Managers to focus on delivering a great athlete experienceRequirementsStrong people leader with experience coaching managers to operate independentlyProven ability to drive adoption of standardized systems and processesExperience overseeing consistent execution across multiple locations or teamsEffective problem‑solver who can triage escalations and resolve issues quicklyOperationally minded with interest in improving efficiency through better workflows or automationHighly organized, accountable, and detail‑orientedAbility to travel between locations and work evenings/weekends during key periods5 days in office at our Toronto HQ – Brodie League has thrived due to a culture of collaboration and teamwork in officeCompensation DisclosureThe expected annual compensation range for this role is between $70,000 and $100,000 CAD. Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
