Art-E-Motive Repairs Inc. is a family-owned automotive repair shop that provides auto shop services for all makes and models of vehicles. All of our work areas are air-conditioned.
We are currently recruiting for a full-time 310S Mechanic. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch. Willingness to work overtime or on Saturday at busy times is appreciated. This position is available immediately.
Regular Duties
- Providing maintenance and repairs as needed to customer vehicles
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle repair needs and explain those repairs to the customer
- Perform road tests
- Learn to use tools and equipment effectively
- Maintain a clean and protected work setting
- Work collaboratively with other staff
Qualifications
- The successful candidate must be licensed (310S)
- A valid driver’s license and current driver’s abstract
- An ability to diagnose trouble and report to customers
- Previous experience with tire services and general automotive maintenance
- The job requires use of computer system LANKAR, so an ability to learn and use computer systems is an asset
- Punctuality, reading and writing skills and the capacity to work independently are essential
