years of study completed, relevant skills, as well as internal equity considerations.How You Will Make An ImpactThis opportunity involves responsibilities including but not limited to:Perform work as directed by supervisorsWork with the technical lead to prepare isotope enrichment production facility and setup equipmentSupport execution of test plans and analysis of dataSupport test report writingFollow procedures diligentlyMeet safety and quality requirementsWhat You Need To SucceedCurrently enrolled full-time in a post-secondary Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Physics program requiring a co-op placementDetail-orientated, proactive approach, and have good organizational and planning skillsHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office ToolsStrong interpersonal skills in order to work co-operatively with a variety of staff or clientsDemonstrated ability to work in a team situationFamiliarity with typical engineering disciplines and documentationAptitude in working with mechanical and electrical systems and partsKnowledge of optical and laser systems is an assetExcellent oral and written communicationsHigh level of initiativePrevious theoretical and/or laboratory chemistry, chemical engineering, physics experience is an asset.Strong excel skills and programming knowledge (Excel macros, SQL, etc.) would be an assetFamiliarity with Labview, Comsol, Phython, and/or other data acquisition programs is an assetWork safely and independently (after initial training period)Our CultureKinectrics fosters a team-oriented and inclusive culture where all team members’ contributions are valued and respected.
