This position on the Healthy Growth & Development Program team requires a dedicated Public Health Nurse to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate health promotion programs. Working both independently and with interdisciplinary teams, you will focus on achieving health outcomes in St. Thomas, Elgin, and Oxford County while adhering to provincial standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess community health needs and plan interventions
- Organize and deliver health promotion programs
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Evaluate program effectiveness and community health outcomes
- Participate in outbreak response and immunization efforts Requirements:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BScN) required
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Knowledge of public health practices and legislation
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and insured vehicle
