We’re currently seeking a Seasonal Racing Valet to join our Racing team at Century Mile Racetrack and Casino for the duration of the Thoroughbred race season.

Please note: This is a seasonal position for the Thoroughbred race season only. What You’ll Be Doing:

- Assisting jockeys with weighing in and weighing out in accordance with racing regulations • Preparing and organizing racing silks, safety equipment, and related gear • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the jockeys’ room • Supporting the Clerk of Scales and Racing Officials during live race days • Ensuring only authorized individuals access restricted jockey areas • Assisting with post-race procedures and equipment management • Maintaining professionalism when interacting with jockeys, trainers, officials,



and guests • Following all company policies and health & safety procedures • Performing other duties as assigned by the Racing Manager What You Bring:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to remain calm and organized during live racing events • Strong communication and teamwork skills • High level of reliability and punctuality • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Experience in a horse racing environment considered an asset Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during race season • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work • Ability to pass a criminal background check • Knowledge of racing operations considered an asset Why Century?
