Become a key player in patient care as a Radiation Therapist I at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. This full time role focuses on delivering precise radiation treatments to cancer patients, ensuring optimal care and support. As a Radiation Therapist I, you will prepare, plan, and deliver specialized ionizing radiation treatments as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist.
With a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Radiation Therapy and required licenses, you will work under the supervision of a Radiation Therapist II. No previous experience is necessary, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for aspiring radiation therapists. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver radiation treatments for patients
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists on treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment logs
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in treatment administration
- Facilitate effective communication with patients and their families Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Radiation Therapy
- Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
- Licensed with SAMRT and member of CAMRT
- Proficient with computer systems and applications
