Duties

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options
- Assist in developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the dental team




- Maintain detailed patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix
- Support orthodontic patients with routine cleanings and education on appliance care
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, sterilization procedures.

Requirements

- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Proven experience working in a dental office environment, preferably with pediatric or orthodontic cases
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations
