Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

- An Early Childhood Education Diploma from an Ontario College of Arts and Technology or a recognized equivalent.
- MUST BE AN RECE
- Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Education.
- Previous ECE experience in a licensed child care centre is essential.
- Highly motivated and responsible ECE with strong leadership skills committed to the healthy development of children.
- Working knowledge of the CCEYA and ELECT Framework is an asset.
- Current Police Vulnerable Record Check within the last six months.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR - Level C Certificate.
- Up to date immunization and health assessment as per Minister of Health requirement.
- Knowledge and skills to perform all of the duties outlined in the .
- Ability to work in a team setting.



Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong oral and written skill in English is required.
- Working in a fast paced environment with flexibility needed.
- Energetic and physically able to participate with children indoors and outdoors.
- Computer experience an asset.
