Responsibilities The Registered Midwife provides comprehensive midwifery care to childbearing women, babies, and families in the community and region. The incumbent practices in compliance with the Health/Midwifery Act and functions in accordance with the program philosophy and objectives of the led maternity care program. The successful candidate is a member of the primary care team and contributes to healthy pregnancies, protected births, and healthy beginnings for mothers and babies in the region.
