Salary The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42/Hr.

Summary Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the RN Cardiac Cath Lab/Procedure Room/Electrophysiology Lab/Cardiac Short Stay, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients/residents receive comprehensive support.

Responsibilities - Assess patients' physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.

- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Incorporate teaching into care plans to educate patients and families.
- Make referrals to resources as needed.
- Support fellow healthcare professionals.
- Operate within the framework of Providence Health Care's mission, vision, and values.

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratios (mNPR) set the minimum number of nurses required to safely care for patients on a given unit. What You Bring

Education - Current practising registration as a BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

- Completion of a post graduate critical care course, or one year of recent experience in a critical care or equivalent setting.

Skills and Abilities - Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Robust interpersonal skills, ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the position.
- Organizational skills to manage work effectively.
- Proficiency in operating related equipment.

- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans based on evidence-based practices, prioritizing patient/resident needs.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures and PHC standards while providing high-quality nursing care.
- Monitor patient/resident progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed for optimal results.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, care plans, patient/resident status, and discharge plans using manual and computerized systems.
- Identify and address patient/resident and family learning needs, providing education and referrals as necessary.
- Provide direction to staff, promote teamwork, and share clinical knowledge to enhance patient care.
- Support nursing research initiatives and contribute to the improvement of patient/resident care policies and procedures.
- Advocate for patients/residents' rights and dignity, facilitate discharge plans, and collaborate with families and community resources.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the healthcare team.
