Reporting to theRegional Manager, this is a key customer service position within Northview's regions as they are tasked with building and maintaining relationships with our Residents, assisting in the effective and effective retention of existing Residents, and ensuring that Resident issues are handled in a timely and professional manner. This role is pivotal in Northview being able to deliver value to its unitholders.ResponsibilitiesSetting high customer service standards & ensuring positive resident relations and resident satisfactionMakes recommendations for improving levels of Customer Service (including Street to Suite)Ensuring adequate inventory and usage of Resident communication suppliesAppropriately handle current resident inquiries, calls, and emails in a timely mannerDepending on the Region, review and or complete move-in and move-out reports and inspectionsCompiling spreadsheets and or generating reports of upcoming lease expiries and generating the necessary renewal documentsReview market rents (in consultation with the Leasing Agent)
and discuss adjustments to NPR Rents with the Regional ManagerConduct Customer Satisfaction surveys to inbound and outbound ResidentsUpdating Resident database (Yardi)Update and maintain the accuracy of information on resident files and lease documentationImplement and manage the resident relation plan and provide suggestions on cost-effectively enhancing Resident RelationsEnsure service of documents and annual inspections are dealt with as per NPR policies and local Residential Tenancy ActFollowing up on or inputting Resident Retention-related work ordersDealing with evictions and tenancy board filings, and attendance at tenancy board hearings as requiredBackup to Leasing Agent and or Property Administrator as neededOther Resident and customer service-related duties as assigned by the Regional ManagerQualificationsHave a professional appearance, pleasant demeanor, and positive attitudeProven experience in successfully dealing with and resolving conflictPrevious experience in Customer Service and performing administrative functionsHave a valid driver's licenseBe willing and able to work irregular hours including evenings and weekendsPossess excellent English communication skillsBe highly organized, and capable of meeting deadlines in a busy and high-pressure environmentBenefitsCompetitive payExtended health care including medical, dental, and vision coverageLife insurance, drug coverage, and wellness programsDiscounts on rent at Northview propertiesVacation Travel Assistance for Northern employeesIf your background matches the qualifications listed above and you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the communities we serve, please submit your resume in confidence.
