Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

Ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs





Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities This is Relief Part-time (0.71) opportunity until July 12, 2027, or return of the incumbent.

About this location/unit: Interior Health has embarked on an expansion plan to meet increasing demands, expand health services, and enhance patient care in the Okanagan. Construction of the six-storey, Centennial Patient Care Tower was completed in May 2012. It includes an expanded emergency department and ambulatory care department, five new operating rooms, a rooftop helipad, an expanded adult inpatient psychiatric unit, and extra space for more patient beds in the future.

Kelowna General

Hospital is the site of the brand new clinical academic campus for the University of BC Medical School. IHSC 1 is a 20 bed Surgical inpatient unit for shorter length stays. Main specialties include Urology and Dental but also supports the following services: Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gyne, Plastics, ENT.
