Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) position at Euro Staffs located in Duncan, BC, CA.

This full-time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. Job type: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Start date: Late September/Early October 2026. Trillium Animal Hospital is a new, locally owned small animal veterinary hospital opening in Duncan, BC.

What You’ll Do

- Deliver exceptional nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and anesthesia as prescribed.
- Monitor anesthesia and recover patients safely following procedures.
- Assist with surgical and dental procedures.
- Perform dental prophylaxis and obtain high-quality dental radiographs.
- Collect blood, urine, and other diagnostic samples and perform in-house laboratory testing.
- Place and maintain intravenous catheters.
- Obtain diagnostic radiographs and assist with ultrasound and other imaging procedures.
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, nutrition, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
- Help maintain hospital equipment, inventory, and treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, assistants, and client care representatives to provide seamless patient care.
- Mentor and support veterinary assistants while contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing.
- Experience with dentistry and dental radiography.
- Proficiency in venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory diagnostics, and radiology.
- Interest or experience in emergency medicine, dentistry, ultrasound, rehabilitation, or other specialty areas is welcomed.
