The Relationship Manager III is responsible for growing a large and complex business portfolio through building new customer relationships and meeting or exceeding customer objectives. The role focuses on fostering customer retention and engagement by offering a comprehensive range of products and services tailored to their needs.
CUSTOMER
Continually deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously improve the customer experience
Lead all aspects of relationship management for an assigned portfolio
Actively use sales platforms to build a robust understanding of our customers/target needs, industries, and markets
Understand customer's operating environment, structure unique financing, cash management and overall business needs to add value to the customer
Possess and constantly build deep expert knowledge of the market, customers, and broader economic factors
Develop and maintain centre of influence strategies and relationships
Identify customer/prospect referral opportunities to internal Bank partners that meet customer needs
Enhance TDBG brand by participating in networking events SHAREHOLDER
Develops / implements sales strategies to proactively attract, acquire and retain customers / sales opportunities and referrals, to enable business growth
Plan and execute business development activities, review and communicate results, and adjust tactics accordingly
Promote and offer full suite of products, sales, services and banking capabilities
Contribute to business objectives for Operational Excellence
Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures
Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk transactions / activities as necessary
Ensure documentation that is prepared / completed is accurate and properly reflects client / business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules / regulations
Identify, suggest and actively participate in process improvement opportunities
Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines/ corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
Participate in cross-functional / enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to provide guidance for complex situations
Ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions / activities
Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
Assume responsibility to minimize operational and regulatory risk by complying with Bank and industry Code of Conduct EMPLOYEE / TEAM
Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest

Experienced senior working professional role with a focus on providing customer relationship management and support within their own area of specialty
Requires an in-depth understanding of products/services and key competitors
Identify referral opportunities across business lines and segments
Understand the business and technical principles that underpin the design and delivery of the products and services provided
Able to design new processes/foresee operational challenges
Possess a solid understanding of the business, the competitive landscape and economic/market issues
Provide guidance to RMA and RM team on complex client matters
Lead training and mentoring of others on team
May serve as a customer segment knowledge resource
May support strategic ranked clients and a larger proportion of complex clients and mandates
Coordinate the identification, pursuit or management of accounts/opportunities with others while taking a primary role in managing the relationship
Solve moderately complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing product and service solutions
Exercise judgement in planning and developing customized account management processes
Impacts a range of sales achievement (P&L;) of their own team and related teams
Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervision
Identify and lead customer problem resolution
Generally reports to a Manager or above EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience
