repairs and troubleshooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors.Maintain inventory controls for cost‑effective operations.Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.Support and participate in lean initiative activities within the warehouse.Additional ResponsibilitiesAptitude to investigate and problem‑solve various mechanical issues.Performs other duties as assigned.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent organizational skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Good planning skills.Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced workplace.Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.QualificationsH.S. diploma/GED preferred.General H.S. subjects.Two (2) years or more strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs required.May be required to be equipment certified.Travel: None.Safety Sensitive: Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified.Must pass a Ryder Background check.DOT Regulated: No.Important Note:
