The Global Manufacturing organization seeks a senior leader to oversee our international manufacturing network and align strategies, standards, best practices, resources, and technologies across sites worldwide. Responsibilities Define, champion, and evolve the Manufacturing strategy in partnership with site leadership to align with business priorities. Consider geopolitical factors in all decisions to ensure supply‑chain security and network resilience. Provide governance for the Global Manufacturing strategic portfolio, including five‑year plans, capital investments, operating expenditures, and transformation initiatives. Guide capacity, asset utilization, footprint, and workforce planning decisions with recommendations to senior leadership. Act as a strategic partner to site leaders, business units and corporate functions, resolving cross‑functional challenges and optimizing resource deployment. Identify, prioritize and lead enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives that drive process standardization, operational excellence, and performance improvement. Establish governance frameworks,
performance metrics, and management systems that enable continuous improvement and data‑driven decision making. Partner with Global Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing and Global Industrial Transitions teams to mitigate risks and support insourcing and transfer initiatives. Provide functional leadership across international sites to ensure consistent application of P&W standards for operational excellence, quality, environmental health and safety (EH&S), regulatory compliance, and manufacturing performance. Sponsor and lead high‑impact continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, best industry practices, and emerging technologies. Lead complex, cross‑functional, global strategic programs with significant impact on manufacturing performance, capacity, operational capabilities, and the evolution of the global footprint. Build and maintain influential relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders to drive alignment and advance strategic objectives. Perform related duties as required to support business objectives and organization evolution. Qualifications Bachelor of engineering, business administration or equivalent discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Master’s degree in a related field is an asset. Recognized project‑management expertise in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Creative problem‑solving ability with an innovative approach. Influential leadership skills with demonstrated collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Subject‑matter expertise and experience coaching, mobilizing teams and achieving operational targets. Experience as a change agent in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience in transition of manufacturing sources. Strong communication skills and experience presenting to executive audiences. Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies. Excellent English reading, writing and communication skills.
