Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by understanding their needs and offering tailored product recommendations.
- Assist customers with plant identification, gardening tips, landscape maintenance advice, and floral design ideas.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure products are well-presented to attract shoppers.
- Support outdoor work including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general gardening tasks to keep the store’s outdoor areas inviting.
- Manage inventory by stocking new products,



conducting stock checks, and organizing storage areas to ensure availability.
- Communicate effectively with team members via phone or in person to coordinate tasks and provide excellent service.

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales, outdoor work, or horticulture is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, plant identification, floral design, and gardening techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, retail math, and merchandising standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions confidently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Outgoing personality with a passion for customer service and teamwork to create a lively shopping environment.
