The Retail Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Retail Site Manager and is responsible for maintaining store operations performing daily functions/tasks and provide exemplary customer service in order to achieve sales budgets and maximize profit. Qualifications:
- Minimum grade 12 education
- 1-3 years’ experience in retail sales and customer service
- Excellent sales point of sale and cash balancing skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative
- Proven display and merchandising skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Team oriented
Responsibilities
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Provide exemplary customer service
- Provide accurate and efficient service at cash and comply with procedures for daily balancing of the Point of Sale System
- Restocking in order to drive sale ensure prices are correct and signage is appropriate and in positive condition
- Participate in planning and executing of store set-up assists with preparation and count of the yearend inventory
- Supervise and guide volunteers assign tasks and distribute their daily work
- All other duties as assigned
