Retail Store Department Head 62010

Responsibilities include:

- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
- Hire, train, or arrange training for staff
- Order merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory

Support for youths:
- Offer on‑the‑job training tailored to youth
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth
- Offer awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth

Supervision: Retail salespersons and sales clerks

Work site environment: First Nations settlements

Work setting: Rural area, remote location, willing to relocate, no fly‑in/fly‑out, no rotational arrangements, supermarket/grocery store

Work must be completed at the physical location. No option to work remotely.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Wage: $46,000.00 per year
