Responsibilities

- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail associates through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee merchandising strategies to ensure attractive product displays that maximize sales potential.
- Manage customer interactions with professionalism, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, handle scheduling, and oversee time management for staff.
- Implement pricing strategies and monitor sales trends to optimize store profitability and meet sales targets.

Skills





- Proven supervising experience in a retail environment with strong team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases better.
- Strong organizational skills for overseeing inventory, merchandising, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and record keeping.
- Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff members.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills.
- Technical skills including basic math for sales calculations and payroll processing; administrative experience is a plus.
