Reporting directly to the VP of R&D, you will own the design, optimization, reliability, and protection of database systems and the entire data tier across the Microsoft SQL Server platform. Operating within an Agile/Scrum framework, you’ll collaborate daily with members across the Product and Engineering teams to build resilient systems that power high-velocity release cycles. Duties Database Design & Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain scalable database solutions, including conceptual data models and instance configurations for SQL Server Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune existing database systems to maximize real-time transactional performance Security & Reliability: Define and implement robust security protocols, data backup strategies, and high-availability solutions Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development teams to support new feature designs,
