In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of land development projects from conception through completion. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, municipal authorities, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex project timelines in a rapid-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of land development projects, including site analysis, feasibility studies, design coordination, and permittingAnalyze site conditions, environmental factors, and municipal requirements to develop comprehensive project plans and recommendationsCoordinate with engineering teams, architects, contractors, and municipal officials to ensure seamless project executionPrepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including project reports, specifications, and as-built drawingsMonitor project budgets and resource allocation,



identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standardsConduct site inspections and surveys to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory standardsManage the permitting and approval process, ensuring all municipal and environmental requirements are metDevelop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress against milestones and adjusting timelines as neededCommunicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and senior management on a regular basisEnsure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards specific to Ontario and the Ottawa regionRequired QualificationsCompletion of a university degree in Civil Engineering & licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario and in good standing5+ years of professional experience in land development, civil engineering, or related project management rolesProficiency with CAD software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3DStrong knowledge of land development processes, municipal regulations, and zoning requirementsExperience with project management tools and methodologiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively independently or as part of a teamExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailProficiency in technical documentation,



report writing, and data analysisStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge of environmental assessment and permitting processesPreferred QualificationsExperience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) softwareFamiliarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) platformsBackground in construction management or site supervisionKnowledge of Ontario Building Code and Ottawa municipal regulationsExperience with environmental impact assessmentsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalentWhat's in it for you?Egis Canada is an equal opportunities employer offering a competitive salary and benefits to those with the skills suited to the needs of our clients.
