Personal Injury Lawyer (2+ Years)

The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and growing personal injury law firm, is seeking a Personal Injury Lawyer with 2+ years of experience to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to take on meaningful files, work alongside experienced litigators, and continue building a successful plaintiff-side practice.

What You'll Be Doing

- Manage your own caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters with appropriate mentorship and support.
- Handle a variety of files, including motor vehicle accidents, accident benefits (SABS), slip and falls, long-term disability claims, and occupiers' liability matters.
- Conduct discoveries, attend mediations, motions, pre-trials, and court appearances.
- Draft pleadings, motion materials, legal opinions, and settlement documentation.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters.
- Build strong relationships with clients and guide them through the litigation process.
- Collaborate with experienced lawyers and support staff to achieve the best possible outcomes.

What We're Looking For

- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in plaintiff or insurance defence litigation, with personal injury experience preferred.




- Experience managing files with increasing independence.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and time management abilities.
- A cooperative, team-oriented approach and a genuine interest in helping clients.
