We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and finishing by using sandblasting techniques in all weather. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Sandblaster will collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality results that meet customer specifications.

Duties

- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or prepare surfaces for further treatment.
- Assess surfaces and determine the appropriate sandblasting techniques and materials needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project requirements and timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints or project specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Utilize hand tools as necessary for surface preparation and finishing tasks.

Requirements





- Proven experience in sandblasting or related fields such as industrial painting or internal coatings.
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in surface preparation.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications.
- Robust time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
