Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other menu items in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to food safety, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Prior experience in food preparation and the food industry is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and serving areas
- Handle food with proper safety procedures, ensuring freshness and quality
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
- Ensure accurate cash handling and transaction processing




- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required; training available for motivated candidates
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
