310T TRUCK & COACH TECHNICIAN Location (West): 145 Walgreen Rd, Carp, Ontario Location (East): 1815 Bantree St, Ottawa, Ontario Position Type: Permanent Full-Time Reporting To: Shop Foreperson Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm Pay Rate: $45.96 (plus $3.00 afternoon shift premium) per hour Summary The 310T Truck & Coach Technician at Miller Waste Systems is responsible for maintaining and repairing company vehicles in compliance with safety, ministry, and company standards. This includes diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, performing road tests, and ensuring accurate maintenance records to support secure and reliable fleet operations. Responsibilities Must comply with company safety protocols and have a strong understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Maintain and repair all company vehicles in accordance with ministry and company standards. Repair and road‑test equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, and perform general shop maintenance tasks. Perform vehicle maintenance in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures. Keep accurate and up‑to‑date files on all vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair activities. Provide on‑road support and perform service calls as necessary. Competencies & Qualifications Must hold and maintain a valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician's Licence, along with any other required licences. Must have at least a valid 'G' Driver’s Licence. Expertise to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently,
with hands‑on experience in repairing and maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment and work effectively within a team. Flexibility and availability to work late when there are delays in the truck schedule. Occasional working holidays and weekends as required. What’s in it for You?
