Full time TERM position. Duties to commence September 8, 2026 to June 25, 2027.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Engage professionally with colleagues, families and communities.

- Demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Education
- NL Teaching Certificate - Level IV or higher
- Appropriate Training Methods
- Minor 6 courses as noted above in applicable subject area
- Equivalencies will be considered

SALARY AND INCENTIVES:
- Annual Teacher Salary Scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.
- Please note, the following incentives are PRO-RATED if a teacher works less than the full contract awarded or on periods of unpaid leave.
- A taxable $2040.00 I solation Allowance paid to all Labrador teachers on a b-weekly basis. Please refer to Article 24.02 of the Collective Agreement.
- A Labrador Allowance and Travel Allowance calculated based on school location and dependants. The bonus is prorated if a teacher works less than a full school year or if not full time. Please follow the link for details.
- For those that need to relocate, a one time only round trip travel claim to travel to the school community and back to your home location during the first year is available up to a maximum of $1700.00 . One travel claim is paid upon arrival to the community through the travel claim system and the other paid at the end of the school year when you arrive home. Pro-rated repayment may be required if break in the contract.

Applicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01 (d) of the provincial collective agreement.
